Mr. Rodriguez has over 35 years holding leadership positions at numerous successful restaurant brands. This experience included senior executive roles with responsibility for worldwide operations, communications, training, and global operational support of the brand. Mr. Rodriguez received a B.A. from the University of Redlands and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mr. Scanlan is Chief Operating Officer for Tasty Restaurant Group’s enterprise of assets. Mr. Scanlan has over 40 years of industry experience including overseeing construction and development QSR concepts, managing of internal operations, building company culture and implementing successfully strategic revenue growth strategies. Mr. Scanlan graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.A. in business engineering.
Mr. Thomson has close to 30 years of experience within the QSR industry with a track record of building teams, improving systems and processes, and delivering results within rapidly growing businesses. At TRG his responsibilities include Finance, Accounting & Payroll, IT, Legal and Risk Management. Mr. Thomson received his B.A. from Oxford University and his ACA from the Institute of Charter Accountants in England and Wales.
Mr. Denny Mills is the brand officer of Tasty King, our Burger King branded restaurants. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality and foodservice industries, Denny champions a dynamic team in executing innovative and effective cost management strategies. His industry knowledge and experience are complemented by his dedication to his teams and his innate ability to motivate and inspire. He is a proven strategic thinker, identifies opportunities for growth and implements successful plans to seize them. His leadership style is characterized by his focus on promoting personal growth and development. Denny attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University where he studied Sports Science.
Jack Griffin is the Brand Officer of Tasty D’Lites, our Dunkin and Baskin-Robbins restaurants. Jack brings over 40 years of industry experience holding executive leadership positions in Upscale Dining, Casual Dining, Fast Casual and quick service restaurants. He has led the successful growth, market expansions, acquisitions and market turnarounds and top tier performance for renowned brands including, Pizzeria Uno Chicago Grill, Bonefish Grill, Outback Steakhouse, Sweetgreen, Wendy’s and Dunkin’. While with Meritage Hospitality, the largest Wendy’s franchisee, Jack and his team were recognized by Wendy’s International with the 2022 Monument Award of Visionary Growth and Expansion. Jack is a strategic, collaborative, thoughtful leader that brings consistent value to all stakeholders. Jack studied Hotel Restaurant Business Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Rick Gestring as Brand Officer for Tasty Chick’n, our KFC and Taco Bell brands, brings over 30 years of restaurant industry expertise and has worked with brands such as Dunkin’, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Blaze Pizza, Arby’s, and Honey Baked Ham Company. Rick’s strategic leadership is complemented by a strong educational background, holding both an undergraduate degree and an MBA from the University of Nebraska.
Greg Chaffin, as Brand Officer of Tasty Hut, our Pizza Hut brand, brings over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, having worked with renowned organizations such as Pizza Hut, Bluegrass Pizza, Denny’s, and NPC International. Throughout his career, Greg has successfully led teams to grow and stabilize markets, driving both financial success and people development. His approach is rooted in the People First Business Model: hiring, training, and nurturing the right talent while empowering them to achieve goals through consistent process execution and systems that ensure excellence for team members, management, above-store leaders, and guests alike. Greg’s commitment to daily, weekly, and monthly processes has consistently delivered outstanding results across all markets and locations. His achievements include receiving the Titan Award (YUM Brands), Gold Star Operator recognition (NPC), and being named a Top 10 Franchisee (PHI).
With more than 14 years of experience in Development, Mr. Douglas leads Development for Tasty Restaurant Group which includes Planning, Site Selection, Real Estate, Design, Construction and Facilities Maintenance. Before that, for more than 15 years, Tasos led in many facets of restaurant operations which included construction forecasting, design builds, store layouts, equipment placement, facility management and store operations.
Mr. Greenway has 20+ years of transaction and capital markets experience. Prior to joining TRG, Mr. Greenway completed a broad range of transactions across the consumer sector, including buyside/sell-side M&A, debt and equity private placement, and financial restructuring. Mr. Greenway received a B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Texas Christian University.
Michael Gomez currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources for the Tasty Restaurant Group and its six iconic brands, and 450 restaurants across 23 states. Michael has 36 years of experience as a classically trained Human Resources executive having worked for fortune 50 brands such as AT&T, PepsiCo, The Walt Disney Company, and McDonald’s Corporation. Notably, Michael led the field in HR execution for McDonald’s Corporation, the development of the first Human Capital Plan, and subsequent reengineering of the HR function and Shared Services approach for providing best practice labor/legal and staffing & retention advice to U.S. company operations leaders and the franchise community. In addition, Michael served as EVP for DHR Global in Chicago as a top new sales award winner, executive advisory board member, and lead trainer for all EVPs hired in North America before establishing his own retained search and HR consulting firm. Michael excels in Human Capital Performance Development and the HR systems that drive employee engagement and the continued growth and wellness of an organization. Mike received his undergraduate degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan and has performed graduate studies at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
